Are you interested in learning more about Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC)? Come join our monthly study group!

• AAC Study Group is open to any BTS provider interested in AAC (even if you don’t have AAC users on your current caseload!)
• Each month we’ll discuss a different topic, dig into relevant research, and have time for discussion/Q&A.

This month’s topic will be Aided Language Input: a strategy used by communication partners whereby the partner pairs their spoken language with use of AAC/graphic symbols. This evidence-based strategy facilitates language comprehension and demonstrates how language/symbols can be used across form, content, and use. Join us as we discuss how this can be implemented in your daily practice with students!
