After years working for large, impersonal national rehabilitation companies, Maren and Christopher Boothby had had enough. They decided to focus their professional efforts on the real needs of school age children by forming a small company that had the flexibility, patience, focus and expertise to meet any therapeutic need.
At BTS, those same values are in place today. We make a difference by keeping the focus on the real needs of students, and the real capabilities of schools; we improve outcomes by carefully assessing needs and finding the right people with the skills to meet them.
We are still a relatively small company, with a team of 60 outstanding occupational therapists, speech therapists, teachers of the visually impaired, clinical support professionals, and an experienced business services team. We make sure that we never lose our emphasis on what schools and therapists specifically need to be successful.
As a school contracting with BTS, you will work with a dedicated team of highly qualified therapists within a framework of professional support. Boothby therapists simply become your therapists, active and professional members of your special education team that fit in so seamlessly with your staff that others may never know that they come from BTS.

Maren Boothby, Founder, President
Maren Boothby, MS, CCC-SLP found her SLP niche working with middle and high school students throughout the state of New Hampshire. As the company grew, she mentored new therapists as they joined Boothby Therapy. Knowing them on both a professional and personal level has been one of the most rewarding aspects of her job. In recent years, Maren has taken on a consultative role with many school districts, helping them assess their needs and respond to changes in special education, including increasing classroom-based services and writing goals related to the Common Core.
Personally, Maren enjoys cooking, entertaining and travel with just some of her favorite destinations being Nicaragua, Chile, South Africa and anywhere she can dine on great local cuisine at a bargain price!
Christopher Boothby, Founder, Chief Operating Officer
Christopher Boothby, MPA, NHA provides strategic guidance for the Company’s growth and development. Christopher is passionate about advocating for therapists through his volunteer work with the NH Speech Language Hearing Association as well as advocating for NH‘s Cultural enrichment as Board Chair of the Winnipesaukee Playhouse.
Personally, Christopher is an avid fisherman whose goal is to someday catch a larger King Salmon than Maren!.
John Rodrigues, Chief Operations Officer
John Rodrigues joined Boothby Therapy Services in July 2017 and his extensive background in business has quickly made him a valued member of the team. John works closely with both the clinical and business services teams to ensure that all aspects of the company are running efficiently and cohesively. John is a world-class problem solver, who continuously provides innovative ideas and solutions company wide.
Personally, John enjoys spending time with his wife Holly and their three children (and grandchildren!) as well as vacationing in the warmer waters of Central America and the Caribbean! .
Heather Sydorwicz, SLP, Director of Related Services
Heather Sydorwicz is a NH girl from Dover who received her undergraduate and graduate Communication Disorders degrees from UNH. After completing her CFY at a clinic in Nashua, she worked at Auburn Village School serving children from 3-18 and treating the full range of speech and language needs seen in a typical NH school. Then, as often happens when you find the love of your life. . .it was time to move to be closer to his family and take the next step in her career at the Cleveland Clinic. Starting as a therapist for the Clinic’s well known Lerner School, Heather was able to develop her skills treating all ages of students with autism. Moving up the management ranks, Heather eventually not only saw significant growth in her students but also saw growth in the number of therapists she supervised, which eventually totaled 43! Although Heather’s first love is speech therapy, she returned to school to become a BCBA and she enjoys blending her knowledge as an SLP and a BCBA to support students and teams..
Alisha Semprebon, OTR, Related Services Manager
Alisha Semprebon began working with Boothby Therapy services as an Occupational Therapist back in December 2010 and has recently joined our management team to share her love and knowledge of occupational therapy on a larger scale. Alisha’s bubbly personality and positive outlook are a welcome addition to any work environment. Wherever Alisha goes, sunshine is sure to follow! Personally, Alisha enjoys spending time with her husband Alex and playing the role of “dog mom” to her adorable Corgi, Sterling.
Jennifer Dutton, OTR, Related Services Manager
Jennifer Dutton is a tough act to keep up with. As one of our Related Services Managers Jennifer is the “All Knowing OZ” of Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy land. She really enjoys working with BTS therapists as they implement push in services, get Jennifer’s guidance on the latest therapy techniques for the autistic student and work with the team on the latest BCBA guidelines. If you ever wanted a professional therapy “Easy Button” you just need to meet Jen Dutton!
Kathy Kennedy-Brill, SLP, Related Services Manager
Kathy Kennedy-Brill was born and raised in New York City and received her undergraduate and graduate degrees in speech language pathology from St. John’s University. Kathy has a passion for teaching children the strategies they need to become independent, productive, and successful adults. Kathy’s passion for helping children succeed is evident in the support and guidance that she provides each day to her reporting therapists. Kathy and her husband Terence reside in New Hampshire’s seacoast area and are always busy keeping up with their two teenage children!
Diana Doyle, Office Manager/Human Resources
Diana Doyle’s service to therapists and schools started when she joined the company in 2006. Diana’s responsibilities include Federal/State regulatory compliance, supporting therapists through a vast array of human resources needs, as well as school services support and working directly with school districts to insure that they have the documentation they need for Medicaid reimbursement and invoice processing.
Personally, Diana and her husband John, enjoy spending time with their three adult children! They also enjoy their yearly trips to the coast of Maine. Diana values family and friends and shares her wonderful personality with her own brood as well as everyone at Boothby Therapy Services.
Jennifer McGreevy, Director of Company Partnerships
Jennifer McGreevy has the enviable position of being a trusted resource for both therapists and our school partners. It is Jennifer that therapists needing great placements and schools requiring experienced therapists turn to for that successful match. Having the ability to understand both the specific need defined by a unique caseload and the specific skills each therapist possesses allows Jennifer to make a great fit for both school and therapist.
Personally, Jennifer is the modern day “super mom” capable of working full time, supporting three children’s extremely busy sports and cultural arts schedules, while still finding time for travel with her husband David.
Kelly Dionne, Accountant
Kelly Dionne’s contributions to therapists and schools sometimes might be difficult to see.While she doesn’t provide direct services to any child she still “sees” each and every service through her role as primary interface between therapists documentation of each service provided and the school administrator’s need to justify service costs. While it’s not an easy job, Kelly’s attention to detail and ability to track data allows her to be a successful resource for therapists and schools.
Personally, Kelly has two daughters who continue to set new levels for academic achievement and a wonderfully supportive husband Roger (Someone has got to do the cooking and cleaning in the Dionne household!).
Gabby Owens, Marketing Coordinator/Executive Assistant to COO
Gabby Owens is the the in-house social media and technology master at BTS. As Marketing Coordinator Gabby creates and curates content across all digital and social media channels and spearheads company events and recruitment efforts. Outside of work Gabby has a love for all things fashion-related and spends time scouring vintage boutiques near and far for unique finds to add to her ever-growing collection!.
Sara Ayimbilla, Administrative Assistant
Sara Ayimbilla, has earned herself the unofficial title of “Documentation Rock Star” around the office. Her keen attention to detail and lightning-fast efficiency are like no other! Sara not only processes invoicing and assists therapists with their documentation, but also provides support to the management team and assists with company wide projects—all in a kind and professional manner.
Outside of work, Sara enjoys spending time with her boyfriend Chris while conquering the role of step-mom of four—from coordinating dance lessons to basketball practice Sara balances it all!
